Valley Church of Christ is hosting its Annual Singing and Fundraiser on Saturday, May 2, at 6:00 PM. This year, the evening is dedicated to the Chambers family — and specifically to their five-year-old son, Chip.
Meet Chip
Chip is the son of Jacob and Kayla Chambers. He was recently diagnosed with Batten Disease, a rare and incurable genetic disorder. Chip loves being a kid — he still wants to play baseball. There is a medication that can slow the progression of the disease, but their insurance will not cover it. Out of pocket, it costs $7,000 a month.
Every dollar raised on May 2 goes directly to the Chambers family to help cover that cost.
How You Can Help
There are three simple ways to support the Chambers family:
1. Come. Join us Saturday, May 2 at 6:00 PM at Valley Church of Christ. Bring a friend.
2. Give. Donations will be accepted in person throughout the evening. You can also give online at gofundme.com/f/chipsfight.
3. Share. Tell your friends and family about the event. Share the flyer. Every bit of awareness helps.
