Heads up — we have a schedule change this Sunday at Valley Church of Christ. The speakers originally planned for May 24 have been moved to the following week, and we are excited about what’s in store.
Sunday Morning — 10:30 AM
Hunter Gravley will be bringing the morning lesson with a message about motivating action — an encouragement to go out and contribute to the kingdom. Think of it as a soft introduction to the evangelism series that kicks off the following Sunday. Before we study the how and what of evangelism, Hunter wants to lay the groundwork for the why: why it matters that each of us is actively doing something with the faith we have been given.
Sunday Afternoon — 2:00 PM
Chance Cole will be speaking on “Do You Want to Be Healed?” — a look at the healing power of Jesus. When Jesus asked that question, He wasn’t being rhetorical. It’s a question that still cuts through the noise and gets to the heart of whether we are truly ready to let Him work in our lives.
